Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered in a search form are sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we use the contents of your message only to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs may include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review totals to maintain the service and understand general use. Cookies or comparable tools may be used for basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Limited visitor data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual readers.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Broward County and Florida portals, libraries, archives, and outside search services. Information entered there is governed by each service's privacy policy. Sponsored results are also supplied by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete personal data vary by residence. The research identified Florida's public-record confidentiality provisions, including Fla. Stat. ยง119.071, but not a general consumer privacy right that changes this policy. Because we retain little data, a request normally involves checking contact messages and server logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records controlled by Florida, Broward County, or North Lauderdale are outside our control, so correction or suppression requests must go to the custodian.
Changes to This Policy
Revisions will appear here. Continued use after a revision means that the updated policy applies.
